Last week and this weekend!

And so the Bonfire season reaches its end! Thanks to Robertsbridge for a great night out last Saturday. Those of us who made it over had a wonderful (if slightly blurry) night of fun with some suitable tales to tell of bonfire escapades!.

There are no more bonfire walks this year, but for those wishing to get one more bonfire night and firework display under their belt then you need to get to the Hawkhurst Gang Bonfire Society event this Saturday, the 24th November. The gates open at 6pm with fireworks around 7.30pm. Hawkhurst have said that any bonfire members turning up in their Society’s costume will gain free entry! This is a newly formed society who very much wants to continue the tradition of the original Bonfire society, and for it to be part of and to support the local community. Please get out there and help make this a great night for them!

For those after for Christmas Gifts then this Saturday also sees the Lindfield Bonfire Society Festive Craft Fayre at the King Edward Hall between 10:00am to 3:00 pm. Packed with over 40 stalls offering gifts for young and old at prices for all pockets from seasonal decorations to jewellery, home & Garden gifts, cupcakes, books, scarves, handbags, wood turned items, bunting & more. The LBS tombola will be in action. There will also be coffee, tea, mince pies and hot bacon rolls available.

Bring your whole family for a fun packed day of seasonal cheer and help support your local Bonfire Society.

Admission 25p. Children & LBS Members free.
We look forward to seeing you there!
