Thankyou to everyone who came along to the LBS Annual Dinner last Saturday, we hope you all had a lovely time.

Thankyou all for donating so many excellent prizes and making the raffle such a great success. We hope to see you all again at the AGM on 17th April at the King Edward Hall – 8pm start.

You host will be Craig from Sounds Wicked Disco, and the prize will be a meal for two and a bottle of wine at teh Stand Up Inn, kindly donated by The Stand Up (many thanks guys)!!!

What’s on for 2014?

Welcome to 2014 and the 120th anniversary of Lindfield Bonfire!

As always the work of a Bonfire Society is not just confined to the 5th November, and we have been busy planning and working on events and fund raising for this year. We will add information about these events to our website in the Other Events section and also to our Facebook page.

We are currently working on the 2015 Lindfield Village Calendar, so if you are interested in sponsering a month please let us know, but pages are going fast!

Coming up during March and April we have:

  • 22nd March – The LBS Annual Dinner. This year’s dinner will once again be held at the Bent Arms beginning at 7pm for dinner at 7.30pm
  • 1st April – Music Quiz at the Stand-Up Inn, Lindfield. Starts 8 p.m.
  • 12th April – Vintage Coffee Morning at the King Edward Hall.
  • 17th April – LBS Annual General Meeting at the King Edward Hall.

Looking further ahead Village Day takes place at the end of May and for June we will be hosting our 120th Birthday Party at the King Edward Hall!

March 2014 Committee Meeting


In a shock twist, this month the LBS Committee meeting will be held on Tuesday 18th March, 8pm-9pm at the King Edward Hall. Yes, on a Tuesday!!!

Anyone who is interested in what we’re are planning for next year, fundraising suggestions, or just wishing to get involved or help us welcome to come along.
